Outdoor Pool Hours
The outdoor pool will open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the summer season.

To Access Pool
All residents must present a current Potomac Club membership card. Please be reminded that day guest pass users must be accompanied by the sponsoring member while using the facility.

Pool Rules & Guidelines
Please review the following pool rules and be aware that they will be enforced. Continued violations of the rules after receiving a warning will result in the suspension or loss of pool privileges. PARENTS: You are responsible for your children. 

          *  Age Requirements
              Must be 12 years of age; or accompanied by a person 16 years of age or older. 

          *  Rules 
              1. All residents must enter both pools through the Locker Rooms.
              2. No eating is allowed in the pool areas. 
              3. Only unbreakable drink containers are allowed in the pool areas.

          *  Stroller Policy
              4. Strollers will be permitted at the indoor and outdoor pools, subject to the following  
                  conditions. Residents are encouraged to use “umbrella” type strollers which can be
                  collapsed when not in use and require less deck space.

                         (a) Strollers must be placed a minimum of seven (7) feet from the edge of the
                               pool deck and the wheels must be locked.

                         (b) The Association may designate specific areas of the pool decks for the use of
                               strollers.

          *  Children in diapers are permitted to swim only if wearing cloth diapers and rubber
              pants. The use of disposable diapers is not permitted in either pool.

Century Pool is the pool management company responsible for the operation of the pools. They will make the decisions if the pool needs to be closed due to weather, safety or sanitary conditions. They are also responsible for rule enforcement.

Please be advised that with the completion of the indoor pool project, there are now two designated eating areas at the Potomac Club pools:

1. Eating and smoking area adjacent to the volleyball court.

2. Eating (non-smoking) area on the cement deck between the indoor pool wing and parking lot.

As before, the Coton Club eating area is located adjacent to the Coton meeting room beneath the awning.

Alcohol is not permitted at any Lansdowne pool.

Per Loudoun County Health Department code 838.56:

Any person in the process of eating or drinking shall remain in an area designated for the consumption of food and drink. This area shall be at least ten feet from the swimming pool edge and shall be enclosed by a fence or suitable barrier. Glass containers are not permitted in the pool area.
